E.A.S.Y

To my delight, there's another match for Nirwana Shock to play. This means, I have another busy weekend ahead of me. More of a tiring weekend ahead of me. But I'm not complaining.

The EPL is starting soon with the community shield match lined up on the 8th. One point I'd like to make, when the ad was aired on astro sports channels, the ad seemed to be taking a side. The voice said something like,"We're going to do one thing, and one thing only, beat chelsea." Something like that. I'm not surprised, really. But that just point out how blatantly the guys who made the ad assumed that there is no chelsea fan watching. Dude, the blues won the silverware last year, show some respect would ya? Which reminds me of my early impression of Man U's malaysian fans, repulsive. Sorry guys, not all of ya, but those who made it to my head were those who were such.

On the other side, It's good to see that everyone has started to hate Chelsea again haha

The EPL seemingly has lost some of its 'premier' essence before the season has actually started. Joe Cole went to Anfield and claiming that Liverpool is still a threat in the title race. I will have no problem even if he said that Liverpool is going to win the Champions' League. But the fact that Chelsea fail to met his economic requirement was the only reason he chose to leave make such statement sounded so weak, to me at least. Anyway, he's really not that good any more. His lack of appearance last season for Chelsea was not all because of injuries, makes it less surprising when Ancelotti made no objection to his leaving.

Money corrupting the league is not any more news. Man City buying players, like housewives on sunday morning 'pasar', looked rattled when FA launch a last minute attempt to save english football (the 25 players and home grown rules) from sinking even deeper. I can see their concern after South Africa. I remember reading this on the net.

You may host one of the best league in the world, that doesn't necessarily means you'll have the best team. High profile team, sure, but fail to deliver. I don't want to talk about world cup anymore. Like boycotting Israel's allies, world cup is not the 'in' thing to talk about now.

Football is not gonna be the only sports on highlight this coming August (Wait, we ARE in august. I think I've watch too much sports channel previews that I'm starting to sound like one. This coming August, Baling Selipar World Cup coming to you live from Kg Gajah Bertandang, only on Warung Sukan Networks this August!) Anyway, FIBA World Championship tips off in Turkey this month, the men's final. I can imagine spending most of my time in front of the tv this month. But Ramadhan's in a week time, so I might (definitely) need to change that vision of mine.
